Kuo: Two 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone models in 2022, mini cancelled

In the same investors note where he discussed camera upgrades, Kuo says the 2022 iPhones will be available in new form factors.

The upcoming lineup will consist of two 6.1-inch devices and two 6.7-inch models, one of each being a Pro model, while the other two will likely be the standard iPhone 13/14 models.

Kuo claims that Apple will discontinue the smaller 5.4-inch ‘mini’ model in 2022. It was first announced in the iPhone 12 lineup and will be retained as part of the 2021 iPhones. The smallest device was reportedly selling poorly, based on iPhone sales estimates.

Apple currently sells a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, its largest phone yet.
