YouTube testing out new menu bar on iOS app

Along with some new YouTube features previously announced today, YouTube has also begun testing a new menu bar on its iOS app. The change appears to be in testing on a per-channel basis, which means one of your channels or accounts might have it while the other does not.

The new menu bar is mostly the same, but it moves the upload button from the top of the screen to the bottom. Additionally, the notifications page has moved from the menu bar to the top of the screen. The Subscriptions page has moved over to the right of the menu bar.

It’s not clear whether this improved UI will make its way to every user or if YouTube is merely testing it. Other users have previously picked up on the change on Twitter.
