watchOS 8 lets you install updates on Apple Watch Series 3 without a reset

Currently, users on the Apple Watch Series 3 may fine that they are unable to install the latest watchOS updates without resetting the device.

Due to the measly 8GB storage, users are running into issues with downloading updates and finding that there isn’t enough storage capacity.

With watchOS 8 beta 3, and iOS 15 beta 3, Apple has resolved the issue and says that it’s now possible to install updates when “less than 500MB of storage is available”.

The change also comes into effect on iPhone and iPad, with iOS and iPadOS 15, although it is highly unlikely that users will fill up storage on those devices.
