Twitter could let you appeal warnings on tweets

Twitter is testing the ability to appeal any warnings that appear on tweets, according to reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong.

Tweets that contain potentially misleading or offensive information can be marked by Twitter to warn users who come across the tweet.

It looks to be allowing users to appeal the warning, providing more control over what happens when your tweet is labelled.

It’s not clear when, or if, the feature will roll out and if it will come to Twitter for iOS.
