These leaked images of the iPhone 12S aren’t real

Last year, amid dozens of rumors each week, lots of images were shared online purporting to be the new iPhone 12, which later came in October.

We’re seeing this again, and new images from GizChina claim to show the final design of the iPhone 12S (said to be named iPhone 13 in the article).

They’re very poor quality and look to be a five-minute Photoshop creation based on existing mock-up renders of the iPhone 12, which are usually used in app promotion.

It claims the 2021 iPhones will use the same flat design with thinner bezels “on the sides”, while the notch will see a reduction in size.

These renders of the ‘iPhone 13’ are false

A fingerprint sensor under the display will be included while Apple will remove the port from the Pro models, also expected to use a 120Hz panel.

The renders are false and information is based off of previously accurate sources like Bloomberg and Jon Prosser. Most of what’s claimed to come is speculation.

Apple will announce the 2021 iPhones in September this year, at a special event. Unlike last year, no delays are expected to the launch of the devices.
