TestFlight for iOS, iPadOS & Apple TV updated with automatic update support

Apple has updated its beta-testing app TestFlight on iPhone and iPad with support for automatic app updates and security and performance improvements.

By enabling the feature, which you’re prompted to do after updating to the latest version of TestFlight, any apps you are beta testing that are installed on your device will be updated automatically when a new build is released by the developer. You can also enable automatic updates on a per-app basis.

Automatic updates has long been a feature on the App Store and can be enabled in Settings > App Store > Automatic Downloads > App Updates (on) on iPhone. On Mac, open App Store, click App Store in the menu bar and choose Preferences. Check the box next to Automatic Updates.

Download TestFlight for free from the App Store here.
