Snapchat gets Timeline feature, letting you combine multiple clips in one snap

Snapchat’s Timeline feature in use

Snapchat is rolling out a new Timeline feature which will let users record multiple videos clips and combine them in one snap.

When enabled, you can hold the shutter button to record and when you let go, record from another angle, a different person or something else. When done, you can edit the snap and share it.

Snapchat’s recently added songs can be added and clips can be trimmed down afterwards. The feature is available to some users now.

The popular photo app looks to be borrowing some features from TikTok as its growth continues to increase globally. Instagram recently took on the trend of short videos with Reels and YouTube is testing ‘shorts’.
