Siri leaks potential April 20 date for next Apple Event

Apple has been rumoured to hold an online event for the past two months, with some now claiming that it will hold one this month. Siri has seemingly confirmed that the much-awaited Apple Event will be held on Tuesday 20th April, in reports that are flooding in on social media.

Asking Siri “When is the next Apple event” on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch, will bring up a response saying that “The special event is on Tuesday, April 20, at Apple Park in Cupertino, CA. You can get all the details on Apple.com”.

Apple has not yet set out invites for the event, but usually does so one week before – confirmation could come as soon as today. The event, if it takes place, will likely be online-only, and streamed to users on the Apple TV app, Apple.com and YouTube.

The company is expected to announce new iPad Pro models, with at least model expected to have a Mini-LED display, which offers better contrast and brightness than current LCD displays. These upgrades may also include an A14X Bionic chips and minor design improvements. A new Magic Keyboard has also been rumoured, while images recently showed off a potential Apple Pencil 3.

We’ll keep you updated with the latest news and rumours surrounding the Apple Event.
