Pre-orders for the Microsoft Surface Duo start today at $1399

Microsoft has finally confirmed the release of the Surface Duo after originally announcing it in October last year. In a blog post, the company said that it will start shipping on September 10th and can be pre-ordered starting from today.

The Duo is Microsoft’s first folding device with two 5.6″ screens and a 360-degree hinge. It will have a Snapdragon 855 chip, 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 256GB of storage. It also runs Android 10 (with an update to Android 11 coming) and is skinned with the Microsoft Launcher to look like any Microsoft software, with its pre-installed apps and services.

The Surface Duo will be available to purchase on September 12th.
