Pixelmator Pro launches 50% off sale, teases ML crop tool ahead of version 2.1

The developers of the popular photo editing app Pixelmator Pro have today teased the next major update, version 2.1. Alongside the announcement, the app is now on sale at 50% off, priced at just $19.99.

Pixelmator also shared a sneak peak of an upcoming feature, ML Crop, which uses a machine learning algorithm to provide suggestions on different ways you could crop an image. The Crop tool in generall will be receiving a major overhaul.

Other new features coming in 2.1 include the ability to set primary and secondary colours, and way to change object colours through drag-and-drop. Pixelmator has already been updated to run natively on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
