iPhone SE 3: 5G, upgraded processor and same 4.7-inch design

Kuo today suggested that Apple will release a third-generation iPhone SE in the first half of 2022.

The device will use a similar 4.7-inch design, with Touch ID in the home button and minor changes from the current model. It could have an upgraded display.

According to Kuo, the new iPhone SE will have an upgraded processor, potentially the A14 or A15 Bionic. It will also incorporate 5G. Apple first introduced 5G with the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.

He claims the iPhone experience could “significantly improve” if Apple repositioned Touch ID in the side button, but has “no timings” on when Apple will do this.
