iOS 14 Reportedly Installed On 90% of Compatible iPhone and iPad Models

Adoption of iOS and iPadOS 14 on compatible iPhone and iPad models has reached an estimate value of 90%, less than seven months after the release of the update. This is according to data from Mixpanel’s iOS 14 adoption charts.

In February, Apple confirmed that iOS 14 was installed on 86% of compatible and active devices. The figure has risen by an estimated 4 percent to 90%, although this figure may differ slightly.

By contrast, iOS 13 was installed on just over 87% of devices this time last year. It is now on only 6% of all iPhone and iPads, while an older version of iOS and iPadOS is installed on 5%.

iOS 14 was announced in June last year and was released in September. It bought major improvements to the Home Screen, with App Library and redesigned widgets, as well as new features for Reminders, Safari, Apple Music and other stock applications.
