Finally, Gmail can be set as your default emailing app in iOS 14! This was a long awaited feature that is now live.

Google has rolled out an update earlier this week to set Chrome as your default browser in iOS 14, and now it has updated Gmail for the same. Here is how to do it:

Step 1: Install Gmail from the App Store

Step 2: Open Settings

Step 3: Scroll down until you see Gmail in the app list

Step 4: Click on Gmail from the app list

Step 5: Now, choose “Default Mail App”

Step 6: Finally, click on Gmail to set it as your default emailing app!

So, from now, any email related work by default will be carried out by Gmail.
