Apple’s first event of 2021 rumored to take place on March 23

Apple has widely been expected to hold an event sometime in March, where it will announce new products and an updated lineup. On Monday, Chinese leaker DuanRui claimed that an event will take place on March 23rd.

People originally speculated a March 16th event but those rumors were eventually shut down by Mark Gurman, who said there could still be event this month.

DuanRui said in tweet today that the event will happen on the same day as the OnePlus event, while Jon Prosser backed this, saying he is “hearing the same thing”.

Apple could announce an updated iPad Pro with Mini-LED display, AirTags and new AirPods at the event. iOS 14.5, with new emojis, App Tracking Transparency and the ability to unlock an iPhone with an Apple Watch, will likely be released to the public shortly after. Other details are currently unknown.

Apple TLD will be covering the Apple March event live on Twitter and our website, with regular articles on every tidbit and announcement.
