Apple has started promoting Apple TV+ with full-page adverts on the homepage of apple.com in another push to get subscribers for the service. If you visit the page, Apple will tout the service’s 18 Emmy nominations, including:
- 8 for The Morning Show
- 2 for Defending Jacob
- 5 for Beastie Boys Story
1 each for Home, Central Park, and The Elephant Queen
Reminder: Apple’s still offering 1 year free of Apple TV+ if you buy a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV, but it’s unclear if this offer will continue with the upcoming product releases. If you recently purchased a device, just open the TV app, scroll down to Apple TV+, and you should see the offer, but it’s only available for up to 3 months after device activation.
Apple TV+ is the company’s TV and movie streaming service, which is normally just $4.99/month or $49.99/year. You can share with up to 5 family members using Family Sharing, download episodes for viewing on the go, and watch completely ad-free.
