Apple TV app running on Xbox

Microsoft has announced that the Apple TV app will be coming to the Xbox on 10th November, the day that the new Xbox Series X and Series S launch globally.

The Apple TV app, available as a free download from the recently revamped Microsoft Store, will let users stream content on Apple TV+, watch movies and TV shows they have purchased on iTunes, view Apple TV channels and livestream events.

It will come to Xbox One, One S and One X and make its way to the new Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. You’ll be able to subscribe to Apple TV+ directly from Xbox for $4.99 a month and have a 7-day free trial.

The Apple TV app joins Netflix, Disney+ and others and is Apple’s latest attempt to take on competitors. It’s also available on LG, Samsung, Song and Vizio TVs and will also launch on the PS4 and PS5 in November.
