Apple releases iOS and iPadOS 14 beta 5 to developers

Apple has released iOS 14 beta 5 to developers, one week after the previous beta.

iOS and iPadOS 14 beta 4 was badly received by many, with poor performance and bad battery life. It also introduced improvements to widgets, added a new Exposure Notifications section to Settings and changed the Music app.

Apple will likely be focusing on improving performance and ironing out bugs with this and fourthcoming betas. iOS 14 includes home screen widgets, a new compact UI for Siri and phone calls, App Library and other huge changes.
