Apple March Event Cancelled?

Word was out that Apple was going to host an event on the 16th of March and fans were eagerly waiting for Apple to launch products such as the 2021 iPad Pro and the much-awaited AirTags. These dates were not from any verified source and rather from those with no record of being accurate. These dates were more like ‘hunches’ or ‘guesses’ from previous event dates.

Looks like all these rumors have been shattered recently due to a statement from Mark Gurman, who is known for pretty accurate news/reports, on Twitter. He said, replying to MacRumors Editor, Joe Rossignol’s Tweet about a possible event on March 16th, that it was simply not happening on that date.

Replying to a question under this Tweet he confirmed that the launch would not be happening on the 16th.

In less than 2 hours, following this, came another statement, from Jon Prosser via Twitter contradicting the tweet above and announcing the products that are going to release next month.

In this situation, it seems quite unclear about what is going to happen. Unfortunately, it looks like we will have to wait and watch for more reports or just an official statement from Apple themselves regarding the event and the launch of new products.
