Apple launching HomePod mini in more countries

Apple has quietly announced that the HomePod mini will be rolled out to additional countries later this year.

In June, the HomePod mini will be available to purchase in Austria, Ireland and New Zealand. It will cost €99 in the former, but priced at $159 in New Zealand.

It follows the decision to make Siri available on the Apple TV in these countries too. Until now, Siri couldn’t be used on tvOS.

The HomePod mini first launched in October 2020 in the US, United Kingdom, India, Japan, Spain, France, Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Canada and in China, Mexico and Taiwan later in the year.
