Apple holding preview event at new South Korea store on February 24th

Apple is holding a press preview event at its second store in South Korea that is expected to open to the public next week, the company confirmed via the Yonhap News Agency.

The store, based in Yeouido, Seoul, will open a few days after the press event taking place on February 24th. The new South Korean store was first announced in November last year but no further information was shared by Apple.

Apple says the Yeouido store is “a space for everyone to blossom their ideas” and that it hopes customers can “unleash your imagination in this place where you can explore all the possibilities, communicate freely with others, and receive the energy to create something that is not in the world”.

South Korea’s first Apple store opened in January 2018. A third store is currently being planned for Myeongdong, while a fourth store will eventually open in the city of Busan, both busy tourist locations.
