We previously reported that Apple was charging $30 more than the advertised price– $729 or $829, for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini for customers that didn’t buy an AT&T or Verizon iPhone. Now, that “discount” has been extended to T-Mobile and Sprint customers, allowing them to purchase iPhone 12 or 12 mini for $799 or $699, respectively. Unlocked devices still have a $30 premium compared to buying it for use with one of the major carriers.

With this price change, T-Mobile and Sprint are now offering an extra $150 in trade-in credit when you use Apple Trade In and trade in an iPhone 8 or newer in good condition. Once your trade-in is complete, you’ll get the additional $150 trade-in credit in the form of a virtual prepaid Mastercard from T-Mobile/Sprint by receiving an email (after you place your order) with a promo code that you’ll submit at promotions.T-Mobile.com. Additional terms apply.
