Apple crosses $2 Trillion Market cap

Apple (AAPL) has become the first publicly traded US company to surpass the market valuation of $2 Trillion Dollars. Apple hit $1 Trillion valuation just two years ago in August 2020, Apple has essentially doubled its value in the past 24 months. Despite the global economic slowdown due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has put many companies and businesses at a tough spot, Apple has managed to perform very effectively during this period, Apple proved its supply chain efficiency by launching nearly three new hardware products just in 2020. Apple’s quick reaction to set up assembly units in many new places also has been a reason for their efficiency.

Apple is not the first company in the world to hit the $2 Trillion valuation, Saudi Aramco in 2019 was owns that title, although it quickly declined in value post the pandemic scares.

Apple has been performing in a very positive manner post the 2 trillion mark, the current Mkt Cap is $2.160 T this means Apple’s valuation increased by a whopping $160 billion in just 2 days. Apple has managed to show a growth of 50% in the year 2020 so far.
