Last week, Apple banned Epic Games from using its own Sign In With Apple feature. Apple says developers should give users the option to sign in using their method and Epic Games have supported this when logging into Fortnite.
Apple said it would cut users off, preventing them from signing into the Fortnite app, but has reportedly backtracked on that today.
In a statement, Epic Games said that the company “today provided an indefinite extension” but still “recommends you prepare your accounts now for “Sign In with Apple” removal”. Users who are dependent on Sign In With Apple can change their account credentials as suggested by Epic Games.
