Today, Apple announced their highly expected over ear headphones – AirPods Max. With a new over ear design, they include Spatial Audio, Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive EQ. They are available to order today and are available from the 15th December.
The design of these headphones features a stainless steel headband, covered in a knitted mesh which helps to reduce on-head pressure. It also features telescopic arms to help produce a tight and comfortable fit. Taking inspiration from the Apple Watch, the AirPods Max has a Digital Crown for volume control, media control and Siri.
AirPods Max come with an Apple designed dynamic driver which provides very precise mid ranges and bass. Each ear cup comes with an H1 Chip to supply the highest quality listening experience.
The battery life on this device is 20 hours with Active Noise Cancellation enabled. Alongside the headphones, is a Smart Case which, once the AirPods Max are placed inside, activates a ultralow power state to help preserve battery life.
The headphones come in five colours – Space Grey, Silver, Sky Blue, Pink and Green. They will cost £549.
