Adobe previews ‘Sky Replacement’ tool in Photoshop, letting you change the sky

Adobe has previewed a tool for changing the sky in any photo in Photoshop. The ‘Sky Replacement’ option will detect the sky in any photo and allow you replace with one of Adobe’s presets.

It makes use of machine learning (ML) to find the foreground (object, person) and background of an image. Additionally, after apply a preset, the foreground colours and tone will be adjusted to match.

For example, if you applied a sunset sky for the background, the temperature of the foreground would look warmer.

Adobe will likely add the feature with a future update to Photoshop, likely being announced at its Max event in October.
