Snapchat rolling out redesigned profile pages with 3D Bitmoji

Snapchat is rolling out new customisation options for Bitmoji avatars, it announced on Monday. Bitmoji characters have been redesigned with a new 3D look, which displays the full body and supports over 1,200 combinations of poses. You’ll also be able to change the background image that the Bitmoji appears on, and share a sticker with the pose and your snapcode. Profile pages have also been adjusted to focus on the 3D Bitmoji and less on the Snapcode. Twitter testing new timeline UI which looks similar to Instagram

Twitter is developing a tweaked user interface for the timeline in the mobile app on iOS and Android. As discovered by Jane Manchun Wong, the new UI removes padding around the side of tweets, making better use of the horizontal space. Photos stretch right out to the edges, and the layout of tweets has been adjusted. watchOS 8 lets you install updates on Apple Watch Series 3 without a reset

Currently, users on the Apple Watch Series 3 may fine that they are unable to install the latest watchOS updates without resetting the device. Due to the measly 8GB storage, users are running into issues with downloading updates and finding that there isn’t enough storage capacity. With watchOS 8 beta 3, and iOS 15 beta 3, Apple has resolved the issue and says that it’s now possible to install updates when “less than 500MB of storage is available”. Apple shares iPhone 12 Pro ‘In The Dark’ advert

Apple has shared a new advert on YouTube titled ‘In The Dark’. It promotes the low light capabilities of the iPhone 12 Pro. The ad touts the Night Mode feature which was expanded to the selfie camera with the iPhone 12 lineup last year. It shows an actor taking selfies using the front-facing camera in low-light environments, such as in a bedroom and outdoors. Watch it here.

Apple updates Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Motion and Compressor with bug fixes

Apple has released updates to its Pro apps with stability and performance improvements. New versions of Final Cut Pro, Motion and Compressor are now available. The updates appear to improve stability with exporting media on some “macOS Language and Region preferences”. They also include bug fixes and minor improvements. iMovie for Mac has also been updated with a fix for the same issue.
