British broadcaster ITV has apologised for issues with streaming the Euro 2020 semi-final game with England v Denmark on Apple TV.
On Wednesday, nearly 24 million people watched the game on ITV’s standard television channels. The number of people affected by the bug on Apple TV isn’t currently clear, but dozens of users reported being unable to stream the match on the device.
ITV blamed “technical difficulties” as the reason for the issue, although it says that users of the ITV Hub on iPhone and iPad weren’t affected.
