Head-to-head iPad Air 4 and iPad Pro 11″ comparison

Overall Winner: iPad Air 4

Apple knows its latest iPad isn’t aimed at people coming from an iPad Pro and clearly isn’t attempting to get them to move from the top-end device. With the iPad Air 4, they’re targeting a wider range of people that are begining to use the iPad for day-to-day activities and don’t need to spend upwards of $700 to achieve that.

The iPad Air 4 is the ultimate iPad for most people. That’s the people that haven’t moved from a 120Hz 12.9″ iPad Pro or high-end gaming computer, but the average person that wants a solid device for the ever-expanding actions you can carry out with iPadOS. The Air is for the people upgrading from an older tablet.

It’s certainly looking like the 11″ iPad Pro won’t last for much longer. The cheaper Air 4 has nearly every feature of its more expensive sibbling – so much so you might not even need the smaller iPad Pro for professional-level work now.

Next Best Choice: iPad Pro 12.9″

We simply can’t recommend the smaller iPad Pro – if you’re looking for the best iPad money can buy that’s the 12.9″ iPad Pro. It’s got a larger display than the 10.9″ Liquid Retina on the iPad Air 4 and has ProMotion for smoother experience in any app – don’t forget that higher resolution, thinner bezels and better camera.
