Apple has updated the Apple TV app for LG TVs to include support for Dolby Atmos audio. This will allow users to hear higher quality surround sound from movies played inside the app.
Dolby Atmos and other features have been on Samsung televisions before this. Apple TV+ offers many series and movies in Dolby Atmos.
To take advantage of the feature, you’ll need an Atmos-compatible soundbar or sound-system. The update is available now for LG TVs and can be downloaded through the Content Store on recent models.
