Update: Apple has since released iOS 13.2.1 to the public for all HomePods in effort to fix the bricked ones.
Yesterday, Apple released iOS 13.2 alongside a new HomePod update with many new features that users have been waiting awhile for. Some of the features include multi user support and Handoff. After updating, some users have been reporting that the software update is bricking their Homepod, following the Apple Music and Beats1 outage.
Users all across social media have reported that the Homepod will simply stop working after updating. Some users have experienced a spinning white light, while others have experienced a red light.
Apple has since pulled the update and is working on a fix. We’ll keep you updated on when the software is released.
