Game Center has been neglected for years, with the full app removed from iOS 10 and later, but with iOS 14, Apple has revived the service with a full overhaul.
On iOS, macOS and tvOS, the Dashboard has been redesigned and shows leaderboards, achievements and profile information. This can be viewed within Apple Arcade games and through the Game Center section of Settings.
If you play Apple Arcade, you’ll be able to see what games from the service are popular with friends. Leaderboards for competitions and rankings let friends see others’ progress too.
Apple has encouraged developers to add support for new Game Center features in their apps.
