Apple offering another free month of Apple News+ to canceled subscribers

Apple just released iOS 13.6 to developers, which includes support for Apple News+ audio content, and they’re likely to be releasing it to the public soon. Now, they’re beginning to offer users that might’ve canceled their free trial or subscription another free month to the service, giving them the chance to experience the service again, along with its new feature.

Apple News+ was released last year at Apple’s services event in march, alongside Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Card, and is available for $9.99/month after the free trial. It offers you access to hundreds of magazines and newspapers, all in one subscription.

It’s important to note that unlike most subscriptions, if you cancel your free trial of Apple News+, it ends immediately upon canceling. If you want to make sure you’re not charged after the free trial, I recommend setting a reminder a few days before it ends, so you can get the most out of it. Otherwise, Apple News+ is actually a pretty good deal if you read more than a few magazines each month, or if you want access to, for example, The Wall Street Journal, which normally offers a $19.49/month digital subscription.
